In 2008 Columbia University embarked on $6 Billion expansion of its campus in the Manhattanville section of West Harlem, which will result in a new educational, academic research, recreational, and civic facilities, a campus for 21st century. As the State's compliance monitor we conduct independent verification that Columbia is delivering on its commitments by cross-referencing documentation and records; analyzing data; conducting interviews and site visit; and through visual observations; and review of collateral materials.
