Landair led the master planning team to determine the feasibility of re-developing the largest privately owned parcel of waterfront property in Newark into a new mixed use destination district that will feature 1500+ residential units, arts and entertainment, cafes, public waterfront access and amenities, commercial, and hotel uses. The site currently houses warehouse facilities.
Landair prepared a detailed analysis of properties under control and developed an aggressive acquisition strategy for this private investor; uncovered the region's economic geography; and identified key decision influences. The firm then worked closely with the owner, city officials and local experts to set out a roadmap of approvals and identify potential financing sources. Rezoning of the site has since been approved.
