As owner’s representative Landair has coordinated with the client, design and construction team to facilitate every facet of the expansion of the first class Alvin Ailey  facility in midtown Manhattan, since 2015. The project provides critically needed new dance studios, classrooms and offices to support 10,000 visitors annually.  The project, made possible with generous private and public contributions includes finishes and equipment worthy of the world renowned Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. The project’s unforgiving schedule was achieved through a concerted, collaborative effort of the owner, architect and construction manager all within the constraints of on-going operation open to the public 18 hours a day.
